English media are reporting that David Beckham is considering a return to the English Premier League with Tottenham Hotspur on a loan deal.
Beckham has said in the past that he can't see himself playing in the English top-flight unless it was in a Manchester United shirt.But the Guardian is saying sources close to Beckham believe the football star could be prepared to ink a deal with Spurs until the MLS season starts again in March.
It is reported that Beckham will look to talk with his club LA Galaxy next week in an effort to gain authorisation for a trip back to where it all began.
Spurs manager Harry Redknapp said Tottenham will also contact Galaxy "to find out the situation", adding that, "if he's available, we're interested".
